Overview

Our clients with a home set on beautiful Needham Pond were seeking to create additional spaces for their family, expand their kitchen and improve the overall utility of their home.

After a number of layout explorations by the Didi team, the clients settled on an addition towards the back of the house. The addition, spanning the first and second floors, took advantage of their beautiful view of the lake.

The first floor featured an expansive kitchen with a lake view and a new family room. The second floor added a master bathroom, a private office, a guest bedroom that converts into a second office and a separate laundry room.

Architectural design and plans

Our team designed and developed an interior and exterior architectural plan for a two-story addition that included an expanded kitchen, new family room, a master bath and two offices, all with a stunning lake view.

Windows

To assure their new space was taking full advantage of the lake view, the Didi team installed windows that would maximize the natural light entering the home, and the view out.

Furniture and décor

As construction wrapped, the Didi team worked with their clients to install a design aesthetic that merged a modern look with an airy lakeside feel.

The Didi team managed all aspects of the project – from planning, design, construction, furnishing – ensuring a streamlined process that created a rich client experience.
