Overview

This home required renovations and upgrades in anticipation of the arrival of a newborn.

The client possessed an eclectic sensibility, reflecting their affinity for both special antiques and mid-century modern pieces. We designed their spaces to their very specific style, incorporating traditional accents and decorative elements alongside simple, modern finishes. After an intense summer of construction supervision and installation oversight, the project was completed with ample time for the arrival of their baby.

Project Specs

Basement Renovation

We converted the unfinished basement into a guest suite with a comfortable bedroom, lounge area, and full bathroom.

Attic Renovation & Addition

We redesigned the attic and added a small addition to accommodate a home office, gym, living space with fireplace, gaming area, and bar.

Additional Upgrades

We upgraded the Jack and Jill bathroom, and furnished foyer spaces, deck, office, primary bedroom and more. Our work included redesigning all of the furniture and decor in these spaces.

We worked with the Didi team to entirely reimagine our third floor, build out our basement to include a bedroom and bathroom. Didi designed, renovated and furnished all of the spaces. The entire process was outstanding, from start to finish. We had a very short deadline, and they were able to work very quickly to meet it. They are lovely people to work with and they made the process stress free.
